Star Angel

The Star Angel is a combination toss, tug, and shaker toy. We use a traditional process of motanka or “coiling” to provide the underlying structure. This technique involves wrapping or coiling fabric to form the head of the angel, with no use of needles or thread for stitching. It’s a derived form of folk art that carries symbolic and spiritual significance, thought to provide protection and bring good fortune to both its maker and owner.

Like all of our products, it is NOT a chew toy. It works well for all sizes and breeds of dogs. When thrown, it drifts more than glides making it less predictable. It measures approximately 13.5″ in length and 12.5″ in diameter. The shell is one-hundred-percent organic cotton duck fabric selectively filled with Rocky Mountain Cheviot wool. All stitched with organic cotton thread hand dyed with madder root with a golden turmeric-dyed halo. Our Star Angel is divine!
